RETIRED MINISTER FATALLY INJURED IN STREET ACCIDENT

AUCKLAND, Last Night (PA).—A retired Methodist Minister received fatal injuries when he was knocked down by a car at Takapuna on Saturday evening. He was: The Rev. William Wills, aged 78, of Belmont, Devonport.

An ambulance answered the call and on finding Mr. Wills was seriously injured, called ambulance headquarters, and arrangements were made to hold the vehicular ferry at Devonport. The patient was met by another ambulance at Auckland and rushed to hospital. He had received concussion and a fractured skull, and died on Sunday morning.
