INCREASED DIVIDEND.
An increase in dividend of 1 per cent, to 81 per cent, for the year ended June 9 is recommended by the directors of Whittome Stevenson and Co., Ltd., condiment and vinegar manufacturers, Auckland. The rate is the company's highest since 171 per cent, was paid in 1929. The net profit for the year increased to £4224. A dividend of 8* per cent, requires £2614, leaving the balance of current profits of £l6lO to increase the carry forward to £9233.
