Aramoho Free Kindergarten
The monthly meeting of the Aramoho Free Kindergarten was held at 'Mrs Schmidt's residence. The secretary reported that there had been a good response to the photo competition, over 100 children being photographed. An appeal was made to the committee to get behind the effort and help with the voting. The attendance at the school was good. The chairman, Miss Hallam, reported that there would be some vacancies in afternoon classes after the term holidays, and that the age of admission was now 2 years and b months and the hours in the afternoon would be from 1 p.m. till 3.30 p.m. Mrs F. Carr, president of the Mothers’ Club, reported having had two successful evenings and would welcome more mothers The evenings had been changed to the third Tuesday as the hall was not available on the second.
