Hinemoa Gain Win In Last Minute Of Men’s Hockey Game

Saturday’s Hinemoa-Technical Old Boys’ senior hockey game, played on the Gonville Domain, was won as the whistle was blown for full-time. The score was 2-1 in favour of Hinemoa. The first spell passed without either team opening its score, then the score went to 1-all until close to the end of the game. Hinemoa's centre forward. Spicer, took control of the ball and beat the defence right down the field in a great solo effort, which ended in a goal scored right on full time, to gain victory for his team. Detailed results of Saturday’s matches were:—

Seniors.—Hinemoa 2, beat Technical Old Boys 1; Technical College 2, beat Federal 1; Rangers 2, bea> Castlecliff 0.

Juniors.—Federal 6, beat Rangers 1; Technical A 13, beat Technical B 1.
