Rangatahi Rugby And Basketball
Next Saturday a ten-a-side Rugby tournament will be held at Ranana for the Bamber Cup. The Rangatahi Club have nominated two teams (A and B) and the following players have been chosen: Ranginui (4), Brookes (3), Tuka (2), Warera, Potae, Church (2), Parker (2), Tamakehu, Hall, Ngatoa, Pokiha, Gilbert, Pirita, I. Ashford, R. Peneta. The final selection will be made on the day of the tournament. Rangatahi Club selector has nominated the following players for the South team: Butler (2), Parker, Ashford, Ranginui, Rickuss, Ponga (2), Simon.
