STEPS WILL BE TAKEN TO STOP THE FLIGHT
SYDNEY, June 20 (Recd. 1 a.m.)—Captain Bradshaw has been warned by the Civil Aviation Department that it would take steps tomorrow to prevent the flight, and if necessary, the department would impound the aircraft. Captain Bradshaw has been denied Customs clearances from Sydney, Hobart, and Coff’s Harbour, the closest Australian airport to Norfolk Island, to prevent his taking-off for New Zealand.
