Mrs. D. Haggle Playing Well In Wellington Women’s Tournament
Mrs. D. Haggle, of the women’s section of the Wanganui Golf Club, playing in the women’s veterans’ tournament at Miramar, Wellington, followed up her good scoring in the qualifying round by winning her match yesterday morning fairly easily, and winning in the afternoon, after a close contest, at the end of the 20th. Mrs. Haggie was 4 down at one stage but won the last four holes, ending all squart on the 18th. She halved the 19th but won the 20th. The semi-finalists are Mesdames L. Miller (Nelson), D. Haggie (Wanganui), E. W. Creswell (Miramar), C. M. Banks (Miramar).
