VETERAN GOLFERS COMPLETE FIRST ROUNDS OF HANDICAPS

The first rounds of the Veterans' and Tayforth Handicaps were played in the Wanganui Golf Club’s veterans’ tournament at Belmont yesterday. E. H. Lange won the bogey match four-up. The tournament will be continued today, commencing at 10 a.m.. when the second rounds of the handicaps and flights will be played. Yesterday’s results were:— Veterans’ Handicap: G. E.
