Team Looks Fairly Fit; 3-4-1 and 3-2-3 Scrummages Tried

NELSON, Last Night (PA).—All 30 members of the British Isles Rugby team took part in a training session this afternoon. The quite solid nature of the work out showed the majority of the visitors to be reasonably fit for the start of the tour, particularly McKay, Kininmonth, Budge and Davies among the forwards. Most of the scrum practice time was devoted to the 3-4-1 formation, but several 3-2-3 scrums were also tried. The pace shown by the backs and forwards in sprints gave the impression that the whole team will be lively. The team stripped well and looked more solid in jerseys and shorts than in ordinary clothes.
