AUSTRALIA PREPARES FOR UNIVERSAL MILITARY TRAINING
CANBERRA, May 4 (Reed 6 I pm).—The Minister of the Army, | Mr. Francis, said the Australian Government was seeking British instructors in preparation for a universal military training I scheme. A special officer had been sent to the United Kingdom for this He refused to comment on a i suggestion that the numbee sought ! was 4500, but added: “We are i looking forward to substantial i help. We must prepare the ground work. This involves the I building up of staff and providing accommodation for recruits.”
