WANGANUI WOMEN’S HOCKEY DRAW

In an,effort to raaise the standard of hockey in Wanganui, the competition this year will be played in two grades. Teams for the senior grade are: College A, Kiwi, T.0.G., Y.W.C.A. B grade: College B, College C. Stewarts, Technical A, Technical B, Technical C, T.0.G., P. & T., Rovers. For the next three Saturdays (May 6, 13, and 20) no points will be awarded for senior games. It is hoped that this will allow teams to concentrate on scientific play rather than at winning at all costs. B grade match points will count for the championship. The draw for tomorrow is: Kiwi v. Y.W.C.A.. 1.30, ground 5 (umpires. C. Gif-ford-Moore and E. O’Keeffe; P. & T. Rovers game at 3 p.m., ground 5 (Thompson, and Liddell); T.O.G. (1) v. T.O.G (2). friendly game at 3 p.m., grouid 5 (Thompson and O’ Keeffe).
