LABOUR FEDERATION BANS NEW TRADE UNION CONGRESS

WELLINGTON, Last Night (PA)— The Federation of Labour conference which concluded today resolved that no delegate who has accepted office in the New Zealand Trade Union Congress may sit on the Trades Council or a commit tec of the federation.

The president of the federation, Mr Croskery, said ho wanted to call attention to statements made outside the conference that, key unions had walked out. He said the miners, seamen, railwaymen and engineers wore among those still inside.

The conference instructed the national executive to prepare a report on the walk-out which will be circulated immediately.
