CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night (PA) In the first, match for the Nunneley Casket, which began at Wilding Park today, Canterbury leads Otago by four rubbers to two. Results (Otago names first):—
Singles: Miss M. Robertson lost to Miss J. Mac Gibbon, 6-2, 9-11, 6-8: Miss M. Kerr lost to Mrs. H. Lane, 5-7, 14-6; Miss M. Pyle lost to Mrs. I. Hathlerley, 4-6, 6-2; Miss K. Neave beat I Miss L. Luxton, 6-3, 6-4. * Doubles.—Misses Pyle and Neave ■ lost to Mesdames Hatherley and Lane, 3-6, 6-8; Misses Kerr and Robertson beat Misses Mac Gibbon and Luxton, : 7-5, 7-5.
