College Old Girls' Annual Dinner

Flowers in the association's colours of blue and gold decorated the dining room of the Rutland Hotel on Tuesday night for the annual dinner of the Wanganui Girls’ College Old Girls’ Association. The lounge was also beautifully decorated with bowls of delphiniums, gladioli and Christmas lilies.

Some 60 members were received and welcomed by the president, Mrs. J. K. Scoullar. After dinner an evening of informal entertainment was enjoyed in the lounge, items including a parade of culinary millinery desci»oe<i in verse by the compere, Mrs G. R. Jones, of Okoia, elocutionary numbers by Miss Muriel Burtt, and a final singsong around the piano.
