Dominion Stocks For London Wool Sales
LONDON, Nov. 9 (Recd 7.15pm).United Kingdom Dominion Wool Disposals Ltd. announce that offerings from the Joint Organisations stocks at the London wool sales commencing on November 21 will be approximately 104,000 bales, comprising 62,200 Australian, 39,800 New Zealand anc 2000 South African. Approximately 63 per cent of Australian greasy merino and crossbred combing wools will bo medium and heavy burry types, and because of limitations on the show space 19,000 bales of the 28,009 baits of greasy New Zealand medium crossbded combing wools will sold on description. With its offerings of 104,000 bales in the November-December series in London the Joint Organisation’s total offerings in the United Kingdom before Christmas will amount to 319,00(1 bales, which is 39,000 bales in excess of the provisional programme originally announed. Some 20,009 bales oi this extra offering, inclusive of 10,000 bales offered on descriht'on in Liverpool, are greasy New Zealand medium crossbreds, the balance representing the increase in offerings of Australian scoured and carbonising types.— Special Correspondent N.Z.P.A.
