COMMUNISTS OUSTED AT C.I.O. CONVENTION
NEW YORK, Nov. 1 (Recd. 8 pm).—The annual Congress of Industrial Organisations convention today gave overwhelming approval to a proposal forbidding Communists and pro-Communists serving on the union executive board. The decision summarily ousted twelve leaders of left-wing unions from the executive board. Left-wing unions’ delegates walked angrily from the meeting.
