CATTLE DRIVEN 350 MILES IN 45 DAYS

AUCKLAND, Last Night (PAL— After 45 days on the road, a mob of Hereford cattle from Kaitaia has been delivered to Tekauwhata by a Wcllsford drover, Mr. Guy Shanks.

In spite of a journey of nearly 306 miles accomplished at a steady rate of seven miles a day, not one beast was lame when the steers were turned on to Mr. L. Petherick's property at Tekauwhata. They were In excellent condition. Only three wet days were encountered on the trip.
