Israel To Bring Down Compulsory Military Training Bill Soon

TEL AVIV, May 30 (Recd 11.17 pm) —The Prime Minister of Israel, Mr. David Ben Gurion, told the first conference of Israel’s trade unions that Parliament would soon consider a Bill providing for three months’ conscripted military training, plus 21 months on farms and outpost settlements. Conscripts joining the Navy, Air Force or specialised services, would serve longer periods.
