Mr. T. E. Wilson, chairman and Mr W. Matthews, will represent the Patea-Waitotara Rabbit Board at the North Island Rabbit Board’s Association's conference, to be held at Hamilton in June.
Mr. J. M. Carroll has been appointed registrar of electors and returning officer for the electoral district of Patea and returning officer for the Patea licensing district, according to an announcement in last night’s Gazette. (0.C.). Cr. A. S. Coleman, Cliff Road, presided over the monthly meeting in Marton yesterday of the Rangitikei County Council in the absence of the chairman, Mr K. W. Dalrymple, Bulls, who is visiting the Southern Fiords with a scientific expedition.
