MAORI ALL BLACK TEAM MAY PLAY IN WANGANUI

There is a distinct possibility that the New Zealand Maori All Black Rugby team, on its return from Australia, will play a match in Wanganui before disbanding. Advice to this effect was received by “Crossbar” last night from Mr J. Moye, chairman of the Management Committee of the Wanganui Rugby Union, who is in Wellington attending the annual meeting of the New Zealand Union. Mr Moye said that the matter had not been settled as yet, but he had high hopes that it would come about that the best of Maori footballers would be seen in Wanganui comparatively early in the season.
