BECOMES PUBLIC COMPANY. The directors of Henry Berry, Ltd., advise that the company has recently been turned from a private into a public company by the sale of shares to New Zealand investors. The board has declared that the 10 per cent, dividend for the year ended June 30, 1948, will be payable on Monday, May 9, Share registers are being closed on the 6th. inst. The directors anticipate a further dividend of 10 per cent., for the year ending June 30 next, will be recommended at the annual meeting, to be held in September. It is also intended at the annual meeting to nominate a New Zealand resident as additional director. Application for the official listing of the company’s shares is in process of being made.
