YOUTH FOR CHRIST CAMPAIGN
Good Attendances Increased attendances have been obtained each night at the Youth for L'hr.’st Campaign, at present being conducted in Trinity Methodis.. Church. The campaign opened lasi I Thursday night and will conclude on • Saturday night. Preacher al the campaign is Mr. i George Curio, of Auckland. He is as- . listed by Messrs A. Thomas (Auck-i land) and D. Jacobsen (Wellington'). Mr. Curie stated yesterday that though this campaign is being hold in Trinity Methodist Church, it is a r.onrectarian one. This evangelistic cam- ; aign seeks to unite every chti”ch and is not a Methodist effort. He was quite pleased with the reception that the campaign is receiving in Wanganui. The Rev. F. J. Parker, of Wan.anui, also said that the attendances i so far show th?t the campaign has I been worth while. 'file visit of Messrs Curie. Thomaand Jacobson to Wanganui is part ot i their tour of New Zealcnd, which wil' ’■ embrace every town witn a population of over 1000—70 in the North Is> land and 30 in the South Island. Regular Saturday night rallies arc* conducted by the campaign in Auckland. These rallies are the biggest youth gatherings in the Dominion. Successful rallies are also held in Hamilton, Tauranga, Wellington and Christchurch.
