Veterinary Surgeons May Have Two-Way Radio In Their Cars
The equipping of veterinary surgeons’ cars with two-way radio installations is under consideration and the project has been so far advanced that the Post and Telegraph Department l a; allo 1 ted a frequency for this type of work. This statement was made at a ward conference of the New’ Zealand Dairy Board in 'Wanganui last night. The veterinary service in Wanganui has been considering the matter, too, and ha* approached the Post and Tc’egraph Department for particulars of the equipment it would be permitted to instaL It was s 4 at?d at the conference that the object of the radio was to save the time of the veterinary surgeons onl to enable them to carry out their duties more expeditiously.
