Vocal And Instrumental Groups Of The British Music Society
Performances of the vocal and instrumental group of the British Music Society (Wanganui) at the April meeting were of a high standard. The following programme was given:—Songs by Mr H. Gregg, Miss E. Smith. Mr G. Saunders, Mrs I. Perrett, Mr W. Thompson, Mr J. Shnnks, Mrs R. Westwood. Mr R. Jack gave a violin solo, while Mrs 11. and Mr B. Trussell played a sonata for two violins. Miss V. Purdy, of the piano group, played the ‘Moonlight Sonata” of Be'ethoven. The accompanists were Madame Shearsby. Mrs M. C'lnkard, Mrs H. Sutherland and Miss T. Collier.
