PIRATES TO PLAY OLD BOYS
Draw, Grounds, Referees For Next Saturday Pirates and Wanganui and Old Boys will be opposed to each other in the main match of the Wanganui Rugby senior championship next Saturday. The referee will be Mr. L. Le Compte. Other senior games include Technical Old Boys v Kaierau, Spriggens Park, 1.30 jp.m. referee, Mr. N. Neilson; Marist v Waverley, at Waverley, 3 p.m., referee, Mr. Mr. H. Dickie.

Thirds: Marist v Waverley, Racecourse 2, 1.30 p.m., referee, Mr. C. Spriggens; Kaierau v Tech. Old Boys, Racecourse 2, 3 p.m., Mr. K. Parnell. were causing a lot of trouble to the Waverley fifteen. Teaming to good purpose the Kaierau backs moved fast from the half-back outwards, and Bason was given the ball when going at top speed, and his pace carried him over the Waverley line. The kick missed.- Kaierau 6, Waverley 6. Incident was crammed into t he closing minutes of play. C. Dallison .goaled to give Waverley the lead, 9-6. and just when it looked as if they had the game won, Waverley were penalised for an infringement and I. Whale goaled from long range to make the game end in a draw, 9-all.
