MARTON SECOND IN THE UNITED FIRE BRIGADES CHAMPIONSHIP CUP
WELLINGTON, Last Night (PA). —The championship cup of the United District Fire Brigades’ Association competitions was won by the home team, Lower Hutt, today. Their aggregate was 95 points. Marton was second, with 765 points, and Petone third, with 501 points. The trophy and prizes were presented by the Mayor of Lower Hutt (Mr. W. C. Gregory) tonight.
