Alter the most unfavourable weather conditions on Friday the Easter tournament of the Castlecliff Golf Club was favoured with brilliant sunshine and little wind on Saturday. Flayers were appreciative of the better conditions and some excellent scores were returned. Further results are:—

I Woon Wins Canterbury Amateur Golf Title CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night (PA). —D. L. Woon won the Canterbury Amateur Golf Champioships at Shirley on Saturday by two strokes from C. J. Ward. Woon did the morning round in 74, the scratch score, to Ward’s 71, but in the afternoon Woon was round in 71 to 75. J. L. Blair and H. J. Gossett had aggregates of 149.
