NANKING, April 16 (Rec. 8 pm).— Fighting Hared up on the perimeters of Taiyuan, the last Nationalist island resistance of importance in North China Communists fired 1500 shells into positions around besieged Shansi, the provincial capital, and two Communist regiments followed up with an attack.—Reuter.
