Much More Will Now Be Heard Of German International Trade
LONDON, April 17 (Rec. 6 p.m.)— More will be heard of German competition in international trade "as time goes on,” predicts the "Financial Times” newspaper.
It adds that German economic recovery should be helped considerably by the new agreements reached between the United Kingdom, the United States, and France on German industry’s future, dismantling and German shipbuilding. "These new arrangements are logical in the light of the European recovery programme, but much more, obviously, will now be heard of German international trade competition,” says the paper.
