Statement To Be Made On Allocation Of Petrol- Contracts
WELLINGTON, Last Night (PA).—The points raised would be carefully examined, stated the Acting Prime Minister, Mr. Nash, tvhen commenting tonight on a statement by the Dunedhi manage r of the Shell Oil Company, Mr. H. I. Sinclair, that aviation petrol contracts had been allocated by the Government to the British Petroleum Company of New Zealand without reference to competitive tenders by established companies. Mr. Nash said a statement would later be issued on the subject
