PERSIA PROTESTS OVER ATTACK ON FRONTIER POST

TEHERAN, March 28 (Rec. 11.40 pin).—The Persian Foreign Office has now protested officially to the Russian Embassy against the alleged attack by Russian troops on a Persian frontier post at Naftlijeh. About 50 Russian troops are said to have made the attack, killing one Persian soldier. Two other Persian sentries were taken prisoner and the Russians refuse to return them.
