ISRAEL’S CLAIM TO JERUSALEM AS CAPITAL

TEL-AVIV, March 28 (Rec. 8.10 pm)—As one more step in the plan to make Jerusalem the capital of Israel, five Israeli Ministries —Health, Religion, Education, Social Welfare and War Rehabilitation —are being transferred from Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem. The transfer order, which affects more than 1000 officials, is designed to strengthen Israel’s claim to Jerusalem’s disputed sovereignty.
