Miss E. Mills Wins: R. Comp Takes Men’s Event Miss E. Mills, with a net 71 on Saturday, won the Summer Cup in the Tawhero Golf Club’s ladies’ competition. Mrs. M. Marshall, with an aggregate of 217 for the best three rounds, was runner-up. The men’s event was also keenly contested, R. Comp returning a net 71 to put the result beyond doubt. Details were:— Ladies.—Miss E. Mills, 72-72-71- - 215; Mrs M. Marsh'' 1 ’ 2l' 7 Men—R. Comp, 75-68-71—214; G Cawley 74-70-<3- 21, t .uiii.er-up); h. Nimmo, 76-71-74—221; L. Nixon, 77-72-74—223. The Club plays a Medal round next Saturday.
