PLAY IN WANGANUI CROQUET TOURNAMENT INTERRUPTED BY RAIN

Play in the Wanganui Croquet Association’s annual tournament which opened on the Wanganui Club’s lawns St. John’s Hill, on Monday, was interrupted yesterday by rain. Some good games were played in the morning, but as the day advanced the weather deteriorated and from 2 p.m. onward no further play was possible. The tournament will be resumed at 9 a.m. today if the weather permits. The following are the results of yesterday’s play:— HANDICAP DOUBLES. First Life First round.
