With a good card of 37 points scored under the Stableford-bogey rules, I R. Brown won the New Year Handicap at the Castlecliff Golf Club. Runners-up were L. T. Thomas 4.3, F. Currie 33. L. R. Simpson, L. Shepherd, C. S. Bristol 32; W. Shardlow, D. S. Logan, L. J. Frederickson, H. Macfarlane 31. Next week-end’s match will be under medal conditions with the best card over the two days to count.
