Hostilities In Sumatra End

(N.Z.P.A.—Reuter—copyright.) BATAVIA, Jan. 5 (Recd. 10pm).In an Order of the Day,_ the Dutch Army Commander-in-Cl’ief, Lt.-Gen. S. H. Spoor, announced the end ot military actions and hostilities in Sumatra from noon today. He stated that after the end ot hostilities the duties of the forces would be confined to action against roaming groups and individuals who tried to cause disturbances.
