GISBORNE. Yesterday (P.A.)—A sentence of 14 days’ imprisonment was imposed by Justices of the Peace on Dan Karauria, aged 31, a shearer, on a charge of being intoxicated in charge of a motor vehicle. He was also prohibited from obtaining a driver's licence for three years, and then only with rhe consent of the Court The police prosecutor said accused has b'een lined at Wairoa for a similar offence in Wairoa last year.
