Death Of Former President Of N.Z. Chambers Of Commerce
AUCKLAND, Last Night (PA).— Mr. Alfred George Lunn, of Devonport, a former president of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce and the Associated Chambers of Commerce, collapsed and died this morning while boarding a ferry at the city wharf. He was aged 80. Born in London, Mr Lunn entered the stationery trade and in 1910 he came to New Zealnad as general manager for Collins Bros, and Co. He retired from this position in 1920. Mr. Lunn was associated with many public and social bodies in Auckland. He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
