Meeting In Auckland On Thursday
AUCKLAND, Last Night (PA).— A meeting of all hotel bar workers in Auckland has been arranged to begin at 8.30 on Thursday morning, at Lewis Eady Hall, to enable members to hear a report from assessors for the New Zealand Federated Hotel, Restaurant and Related Trades Employees’ Union on the breakdown of Conciliation proceedings for a new award. This was announced tonight by an official of the union. He said the secretary (Mr. F. G. Young) would be present, and would report on Conciliation proceedings. He could not forecast possible developments.
