Nassella Tussock Amendment Bill
PARLIAMENT BLDGS., Last Night. (PA).—The Nassel’a Tussock Amendment Bill, introduced in the House of representatives today, empowers Nassella Tussock Boards to raise monies for works over a period of years instead of for one year. Power is given the Minister of. Lands to acquire lard for the purpose of contro ling nassella tussock, and to | provide other land for any person so ’ displaced. The Minister "on the re-1 commendation of the Land Settlement ■ Board, may purchase other suitable • land for the purpose.
