Rugby Visit To South Africa Matter For The Two Unions

(P.A.) Timaru, Sept. 14 The South Canterbury executive of the New Zealand R.S.A. decided at a meeting to write to the New Zealand Executive expressing disapproval of the sentiments expressed by the Dominion president. Major-General Sir Howard Kippenberger, at Christchurch, regarding the proposed visit of the New Zealand Rugby team to South Africa, and asked that it be stated officially that any opinions so lar expressed were in no way those of the New Zealand R.S.A. It considered that the visit to South Africa was solely the business of the two Rugby Unions concerned.
