Curtain Raiser For All Black Trial Match Arranged
It was reported at last night’s meeting of the Management Committee of the Wanganui Rugby Union that the curtain-raiser for the All Black trial match to be played on Spriggens Park on Saturday, August 28, will be between Taihape thirds and Wanganui fourth grade l representatives. Mr. A. R. Byres will be manager of the Wanganui team.
Collegiate A and Intermediate havp been bracketed dual winners of th e seventh grade competition. The fourth grade match between Kaierau and Marist has been transferred to Racecourse No. 1 on Saturday.
