THYSSEN ON TRIAL
FORMER RUHR STEEL KING London, Aug. 16. Fritz Thyssen, the 74-year-old former Ruhr steel king, appeared before a German denazification court today, says the Associated Press. Thyssen said he had no persona’, property, and hoped to go (o Argentina, whore his daughter lived. IL? was stateless because Hitler revoked his citizenship. Thyssen was charged with being a major Nazi because ho supported the Nazi Parly for 15 years He has been ailing in a sanatorium. His trial is expected to last several weeks.
