YOUTH MEETING DISPERSED Batavia, Aug. 17 On the eve of Republican Indonesian Independence Day, a Dutch policeman was killed and three young Indonesians were wounded when the police dispersed a public meeting of Indonesian youth. Eight hundred Indenes.ans mostly members ol youth organisations, attended a campfire meeting at the site of the Republican Government office building, where the independence memorial stands. The Dutch police authorities ordered a search of the Republican Government’s offices.
