Mrs. P. R. Brown, who has been spending a Jew days in Wanganui, has returned to Eltham. Miss Pam Barnett, of Hamilton, is spending a week’s leave from the Waikato Public Hospital nursing staff at her home in Liffiton Street.

W.E. Croquet Club Card PartyThe papular series of winter card parties held by the Wanganui East Croquet Club, were continued last week in the Scouts' Hall when the winner of the ''soo" was Mrs Benson. The consolation prize went to Mrs. Drummond, who also won the mystery pripe. The hostesses were Mesdames Hammond and Gower.
