Responsibility For Loading Of N.Z. Meat

That the clause in the agreement between the New Zealand Meat Board and the Marketing Board under which the Meat Board accepted responsibility for the handling and physical loading of meat should be deferred to a more opportune time when things were more settled was a suggestion made to yesterday’s meeting of the Wanganui Provincial Executive of Federated Farmers by Mr. W. J. Tripe. Mr. Tripe added that the proposal cou’d create a very difficult position. “I think that the board will be able to handle th? position all right,” said Mr. W. J. Matthews, a member of the Electoral College of the New Zealand Meat Board, who was present at the meeting.
