The London dock strike has collapsed. and this morning the men are streaming back to workA decision to return to work was reached yesterday by 5000 dock workers. The Prime Minister (Mr. Attlee) told the House of Commons yesterday that from reports received there vyas good prospect of general resumption of work today. He added that the regulations giving tb<’ Government emergency powers had peen drafted, and if it was still found necessary to make them, thev would be made today. The watermen, lightermen, tugmen and bargemen’s union decided that its 2000 strikers should return to work this morning and the Birkenhead men decided to return to work last night, in view of the decision made by the London workers-
