With clothing needed lor distressed peoples in China and Europe, the Wanganui branch of C.0.R.5.0. 'Will hold a clothes drive on Saturday morning, July 24. Warm clothing is required and donors are asked to see same is clean, repaired and in wearable condition. Any parcels of clothing may be left at the ladies’ Rest. St- Hili Street, or Red Cross Rooms, above McKenzie’s marked “C.0.R.5.0.," before the date of the drive. Mr. R. Thurlow Thompson, of Wellington. Dominion appeals organiser for C.0.R.5.0., was in Wanganui this week and attended a meeting of the Wanganui committee.
