Annual Meeting Durie Hill Croquet Club

The annual meeting of the Durie Hill Croquet Club was held last week. The report stated that the finance of the club was in a most satisfactory position. Towards the end of the season the club had suffered a great loss in the passing of its president, Mr. C. La Roche. His outstanding play and untiring efforts to further the game of croquet will leave their mark on the annals of the game for years to come, serving as a true standard of sportsmanship and conduct to all those who aspire to the heights of the game he mastered.

The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mrs. A. C. Bourgeois; vice - presidents, Mrs. Dixon, Mr. A. E. Ogier, Mr. Dixon; secretary, Mrs. A. E. Ogier; treasurer, Mrs. N. Lynch; captain, Mrs. I. La Roche; vice-captain, Mrs. N. Rowe; Committee, office ex-officio, and Mrs. Green and Messrs. Ogier and Wilson.
