Cable To N.C.W. Of Thanks On Behalf Of King And Queen
On the occasion of the silver wedding anniversary of their Majesties the King and Queen, the National Council of Women of New Zealand cabled their good wishes. The president (Mrs. Beaumont Bates) has now received the following cable in reply:
“I am commanded to convey the sincere thanks of the King and Queen to the members of the National Council of Women for their message of good wishes on the occasion of tlreir Majesties’ silver wedding. (Signed) M. E. Adeane.”
